"Work-life balance is about finding the daily rhythm that allows you to enjoy the journey of life while passionately pursuing professional growth and learning. It's crafting a life where work enriches your life's experiences, and those experiences, in turn, enhance your work."
Are you feeling less than thrilled about your continuing education classes? Tired of shivering through those frosty conference rooms after snagging a "free breakfast" bagel and fruit? Maybe the rhythmic tap-tap-tap of laptop keys is more distracting than engaging, and the PowerPoint presentation feels like a rerun of your handout, giving you major déjà vu vibes.

On a personal note, are you battling stress and burnout? Does it seem like work has taken over your life, leaving you desperately in need of a getaway to recharge for both your personal and professional well-being?

Why not tackle both of these challenges with one swoop?

Pathways to Progress: DBT Skills for Professionals
October 2024
Oak Island, North Carolina
Attending this Thrive and Balance retreat was the perfect combination between professional continuing education and self care. I was able to network, grow as my knowledge and also spend time recharging my soul.

This was an absolutely amazing retreat. It was such a great environment with other clinicians. The DBT presenter was amazing. It thankfully didn’t feel like work while doing the workshop. It was professional but relaxing. 10/10 would recommend!
The retreat was relaxing and definitely a ball of fun! Some of the different activities were my first time experiencing but I know sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone to enjoy the pleasures of life. So with that being said, I am looking forward to my next retreat.
The retreat offered so many different opportunities for growth, both professionally and personally. I feel rejuvenated and renewed and focused, ready to get down with some DBT! I walked away with so much positive energy, perspective, and joy in my heart.
HOLIDAY SORIEE
December 2023
Charlotte, North Carolina
A holiday party was a heartwarming occasion that brought work family together, not just as colleagues, but as a true community. In a setting away from the office, we shared laughter, stories, and joy, deepening our connections and appreciating each other in a new light.
This holiday party was just what we needed! It gave everyone a chance to come together and enjoy each other’s company outside of our normal workday.

I loved every part of this holiday gathering! The atmosphere was festive, and it was great to socialize with everyone outside the office. I feel like I got to know my fellow therapists on a more personal level
The holiday party was the perfect way to unwind and connect with colleagues in a relaxed setting.

It was so nice to meet therapists I hadn’t had the chance to interact with before. The activities and conversations made it feel like we were more than just coworkers–it was like catching up with friends.
